How to create a column with the ⋮⋮ symbol
You can format your text into columns by clicking and dragging the text you want to put in another column. (The ⋮⋮ symbol in the left margin is your handle for drag and drop.)
Follow the blue guides that appear and drop it where you want it. You just created a new column!
You can create as many columns as you want across the width of a page.˙
How to create a column using the /columns
command
You can also use the columns command to create new columns.
- Start typing
/columns
and choose one of the presets: 2 columns, 3 columns, .etc
- Drag your content inside the columns (The ⋮⋮ symbol in the left margin is your handle for drag and drop)
- You have now some columns to divider your content!
You can also reorder your columns block, remove or add new ones.
